This week I focus on making my luminaries maquettes and wanted to start it off with found material objects. Though there was not much thought put into it, it was more focusing on creating shapes with the found materials and finding what it ends up looking like when put together. This specific project ended up looking like a mushroom in my mind, so, I painted the bottom section brown and the top part red and stuck some holes in the top for light to get through.

This did take a bit of time even though the project itself is not a fantastic piece of art. There was some setback due to trying to use a different material but I cut it way too small, then I was using the tin that is included in the top of my maquette, and I cut my hand with that and bled on another material I was supposed to use. This sort of ugly project was a hassle.
