Climate change will have a big impact on the west coast. It can severely damage it with the natural disasters, forest fires, and rise of sea level it might cause. From what we can see the temperature in this area will spike up drastically in the century because of climate change and it will not do very well if the temperature gets to high. The forest fires could kill a lot of amazing things in the area, such as animals and the beautiful scenery. Same with the natural disasters is could cause. It also does not just affect the west coast with these natural disasters, if the rain increases there is more chance of landslides. If these landslides are to big they can wash away soil from the shore and damage aquatic life. Already snow and hail storms are breaking records there in the winter and it is predicted it will get way worse.
