The first story is about not being safe, and the second one is a good example of being safe.
On a Wednesday afternoon a boy named Billy was in his block C science class. Billy was not very cautious in the science lab and he knocked over a beaker that was in a ring stand above a Bunsen burner that was on. In the beaker was hot oil that hit the ground and splashed everywhere, and the beaker smashed and glass went everywhere. Since Billy forgot to wear his safety goggles the hot oil splash in his eyes, then ran the eye wash station and rinsed his eyes out. He then looked back at the disaster he had just caused and saw that the Bunsen burner had caught a jacket on a chair close to it on fire. Billy then ran to get a fire extinguisher and he put the fire out. In the end of the class everyone was alright and Billy realized to be more cautious.
The next day Jaime entered the science room, she knew they were having a lab and she immediately put her safety goggles on, she put her long hair in a pony tail and was not wearing any loose clothing. She grabbed a peatry dish and a compound microscope and was ready for her lab that she made sure would be safe and a good experiment. She always was careful, but after seeing Billy go through all the things that had happened Jaime wanted to be extra precise on her safety after.
Here are two WHMIS Symbols and I chose these because in my first story about Billy not being safe in the lab he got acid in his eyes and that would represent the skull symbol. The other WHMIS Symbols is a flammable symbol, it looks like a little fire, this represents the coat catching on fire in the first story from the Benson Burner.
