Math week 8
This week I learned how to draw a model representing distributing property. To do this you line up the first half of the equation at the top and the second part on the left side. You then prosseed to use the write tiles meaning the long rectangle representing X and the small squares representing 1. These models can only be used with small equations that don’t have Xsquared in them. As shown above you trace out the boxes to see what you are left with.
