Learning involves developing relationships, respecting distinct cultures, and honouring the perspective of others in our communities. The circle activity we did on Thursday was very eye opening. In this activity we went around in a circle answering various questions. I learnt the names of people I didn’t know previously and a lot about their parents and grandparents. This activity has helped me have to opportunity to make more friendships. I also now know to more thoroughly respect the distant cultures of my peers. I can also make sure to honor their perspectives know that I know a little more about them. This activity was very useful and I felt happy when doing it and I am grateful that we did it as well.
