New Book Cover – “street pharm”

Street Pharm | Book by Allison van Diepen | Official Publisher Page | Simon & Schuster Canada

the book that I read was street pharm, it was written by  Allison van Diepen. from the moment that I picked up the book I knew it was going to be about a drug dealer or a drug user. there was not a lot to go on from looking at the cover but there did not need to be the small bag of Wight powder was all that was needed to tell the premise of the story. by looking at the slogan underneath the white power “it’s not just business. it survival” you can tell that they are a hard core dealer and have no other sources of income. when you look at the name of the book Street Pharm it shows up in a red font and almost looks like blood splatter. I think the writer of this book  was trying show that there was gang and shooting in this book. the bag looks be on the groaned as if someone had dropped it in a frantic escape from something or someone. it also made me think that this is how the dealer gets cot. the bag of drugs looks like it had ben there for a wile because of the powder looking clumpy and the bag being duty.

this is my remade front cover of the book street pharm I think that it suites the the book more because it matches the eeriness and uncertainty of the book. I love the early look of the back ground with the boldness of the letters. the reason that I put the bag of white stuff beside the mans foot was to show that he was a drug dealer and that maybe he was going to do a deal with one of his clients. I made the title of the book simple because I did not want it to out shine or draw the attention away from the mane part of the cover witch is the scary man walking down the dark fogy path way. I changed the position of the authors name because I think that it was a bad position due to the fact that I found myself reading her name before the title I don’t think that should be happening because the title of the book is what should catch the readers eye. I wanted the title to blend in with the background so I made it white and simple. to sum it all up i did a full make over of the front cover and changed the kind of text that was used.
