A Fresh Look at The Periodic Table
Define
Restating the problem:
A special request upon re- creating and re- designing the present periodic table of element was proposed by the science community.
Discover
Questions for this project:
- Will we be following the old customs of element families?
- How can we re- arrange it differently than it is now?
- How can we incorporate all the groups?
- How can we arrange the table so the information correlates
Dream
What information does the periodic table tell you? How can you arrange it differently based on the chemical and physical properties:
- The periodic table tells us the different categorizes of elements
- It tells us the information of the elements (ex. protons, electrons, etc..)
- We could arrange the table in a triangle formation
- color code them, label them
Design
What is the plan?
- Distributing assignments to complete the project on time!
- We will start our project and officially create it and get everything almost done by that day.
Make it happen!
- getting our supplies and paper and thinking of ideas
- after that then we finish our assignments
- on Monday we will give our final touches and make sure we did the project properly
Have a full understanding of the table
- making sure we re- read though the criteria
Deliver
we have completed our tasks and organized the table (on paper) so it would not be posted here but will be given to the teacher
Our periodic table is super different than the original periodic table because our creation has not many similarities but it does have a lot of differences, for example just the shape of it. Our shape is a triangular form and we have sections on the triangle that indicates gases, liquid and the solids. is is also color coded and you can tell each element.
That is what we did!
