Tell me about one of your learning goals. (Prompt: Something you want to get better at or learn how to do.) How did you come to that goal? Tell me about something you are doing to help you work on that goal?
I want to get better at being more descriptive with my writing and writing more, and I am trying to achieve it by writing more every time and having more ideas to put down every time. Another goal is to get a better mark and have better spelling because I am trying to be as grammatical as I can be I am working on that because every time I write I am improving and expanding my knowledge.
What do you do to help yourself when you are feeling a bit discouraged about your work?
I tell myself that the sooner I finish my homework, the sooner and faster I will be done, and I also have a parent who helps me override discouragement.
Think of times when you must wait. What strategies do you use when you are feeling impatient? How did you develop that strategy? When did you start? How does it work?
When I feel impatient, I talk to my sibling, or I talk to my parent, but most of the time, I am on my phone or tech. I developed that strategy when I was about ten years old because I would be bored, and tech is an entertainment system. And it works by entertaining me with video games and videos that I love. I also developed that strategy when I got my first phone.
