Stop Motion – Mitosis

  1. Why did you decide to model Mitosis or Meiosis- one over the other? Be specific!!! 

 

We decided to do mitosis because it was easier to complete with clay in stop motion to have more time making the video look excellent. 

  1. What was the most challenging thing in making your movie? 

 

It was having the phone stay stable and not moving during filming. 

 

  1. What was the easiest thing to do in making your movie? 

 

Move around the pieces and story bord. 

 

  1. How could you improve your movie? 

 

Maybe by having more shots of the clay, add music and put more time in headers could improve our outcome. 

 

  1. Thinking about how you worked with your partner, what were some of the challenges and successes of working in a group? 

Success was that we could help each other, and it was less work working with a partner. We had more ideas, and a challenge was that we sometimes distracted each other.  

  1. Why is Mitosis important? In other words, what is the point of cells performing Mitosis? 

Mitosis is important because it is essential for growth and repair in the body. Mitosis happens when a parent cell divides, creating two identical copies, daughter cells.  

  1. Why is Meiosis important? In other words, what is the point of cells performing Meiosis? 

Because the cell divides and creates 4 different daughter cells so they have a bigger chance of survival and more cells.  

  

 

 

i think that we could have improved on the speed of us working and handing in the assignment on time and also the quality of work i think that we made the video look good and kept in nice and short i think another thing tat we could of improved on is how long it took to make the video and i think that everything else was good
