Not so amazing egg bowls

The recipe that I had was a recipe for a egg bowl where there were layers of ingredients. The first layer was a egg, second layer cheese and third layer heavy cream. I got this recipe on  a website with a lot of different egg recipes. I decided that this one looked good so I tried it. The recipe called for heavy cream but when we went to the store, there was no heavy cream but there was light cream. I read online that the only difference was that the fat content was more in heavy cream than light cream so I used that instead. Thinking back, I should have just changed the recipe to something else but I went with it anyways. I also used mozzarella cheese instead of parmesean cheese but a comment on the recipe online said that it is okay to do. When I went to make it, my friend was recording which was probably a bad idea because I wasn’t focused and we kept on making jokes. That forced me to cut out a lot of cooking in the video because a lot of the jokes I was not willing to share on my blog . The recipe said to cook for 10-20 minutes and I cooked mine for 17. Once it came out, the top layer which was the light cream was still a liquid but I had to take it out or the egg was going to overcook. I tried a little bit of it and it tasted pretty good, but it looked so bad that when you used a spoon to dig in the cheese would go all stringy and it looked like the egg so I did not eat the rest of the egg. My mom tried a bit and it was okay but then we threw it away and I made scrambled eggs for my family.

The recipe is as following :

a tablespoon butter = 15 ml

4 eggs

2 tablespoons parmesean cheese = 30 ml (I used mozzarella)

Salt and pepper

¼ cup heavy cream = 60 ml (I used light cream, probably a mistake)
