Questions I asked:
- What is uranium?
- Who discovered it?
- How was it discovered?
- Where is it found?
- What is it used for?
- What are it’s physical properties?
- What does a uranium atom look like?
- Is it harmful to humans?
- What are the boiling/melting points?
What digital tools did I use?
I used Google chrome to search up the questions, which is a familiar tool, and then I made sure that I used multiple websites for all the information that I got. To verify, I made sure that every website and source I used was from the official government, a university, a registered organization, etc. (websites that end in .gov and .org) To put all the information together, I used Sway, which is a new tool for me, because I’ve never used it before this assignment.
The process of completing this assignment wasn’t too challenging. Finding information was easy, because there are a lot of legit websites that are easy to access. The only thing I had a few problems with was figuring out how to use Sway, since it was my first time using it. I had challenges organizing the text and pictures into different slides, but it wasn’t too bad. Next time, I would like to use something I’m more familiar with, or at least get more used to Sway.
