Canadian Public Broadcasting

Public broadcasting is a public service funded by the government via taxes dollars. It involves technologies like radio, television, and other electronic media such as websites. Canada’s public broadcasting program is the is the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). It was founded in 1932 and originally named the Canadian Radio Broadcasting Commission (CRBC). Public podcasting has multiple advantages compared to private news outlets where it does offer a truth worthy source of information not influenced by advertisers. However even though with these advantages some people don’t like public broadcasters where they are forced to pay through taxes even though they might does not use the program. I believe that public broadcasting will appeal to the modern audience through its trustworthiness and not wanting to pay for another program like CTV.
