PROBLEMS  SOLUTIONS
Research

1. Did not know who to take inspiration from

1. searching on YouTube watching multiped videos and taking parts of each rube Goldberg I like

Design
Materials
1. Did not know where to find my materials
2. Did not know what materials I needed
3. Did not know how much material I needed
1. I got a materials I needed at school for example nails screws and cardboard.
2. I had planned out what materials I needed afterwards
3. As the classes went by, I took material home that I needed and used it the left-over materials I have left I saved them
Constructions tools and equipment
1.I did not have any problems while using the equipment

Constructions design and modifications
1. Making circles by cutting it out

1. Being taught how to make circles using the sander

For the past 2 weeks of class, I have been working on the Rube Goldberg project which is a string of simple machines that work with each other to perform a task, the task of my simple machine was to give you a piece of candy. 5 things that I experienced from the planning and building my project, while researching simple machines I had an idea of using a spring to absorb energy from the fall of the candy and searching it up it came to me as a surprise to find it as an inclined plane instead of a screw. While making a wheel and axel for nick’s group I had been taught an easier way of making circles instead of cutting it out you can use a piece of wood screw the cardboard on then use the sander to create a circle. While making a dropping mechanism the cardboard was stuck most of the times I tried it, I figured that the cardboard was too thick, so I decided to cut out a flat piece of a plastic cup making it think and smoother on the cardboard. During the construction of the base of the project, it was not balanced making it unable to stand up on its own, so I created two sides and glued it on its sides balancing the weight. When making the lever/wedge it kept falling out when the marble landed on it so I created a tiny barrier, so I stop falling off.
