My scale was the Parthenon in Greece as the sun and then the Theatre of Dionysus as the earth. The measurement from the sun to the earth is 1 astronomical unit (AU). So 1 AU on my map is 169m.

Now to find the distance on my map I multiplied 169 by the AU’s of the other planets.

ex. mercury = .387 Au, so .387 x 169 = 65.403, so I put mercury 65m away.

I thought this project represented a good scale of the solar system that I could understand.
