Digital Footprint
When I google my name, nothing comes up because I am only active on one social media account. Instagram, and even there, I rarely ever post. the stuff I have posted has been landscape photos from travelling. So if someone were to look my name up on the Internet in the future, nothing would come up. So I think the only way my online appearance would affect me in the future is someone would find out I like to travel. Or maybe it could be bad that they wouldn’t find any thing on me because they might think I’m making a fake identity?
Be cautious about what you post, make sure you don’t say anything online or post something that could offend someone in anyway. Ask your friends not to post pictures of you without your permission in case it’s a silly photo that your friend posted for laughs but the whole world doesn’t need to see. Stay away from doing anything like drugs or lots of partying because someone get a photo of you doing that and post it online.
On instagram, you have the option to fill out what’s called a bio. Sometimes people put personal information there like where they go to school, how old they are, their birthday, or their full name and people can see it and use it somehow. you could also make a private account so only the people you add can see what you post so your posts aren’t available to the public.

– You included appropriate photos or media as instructed but consider using share-friendly sources
– You could consider adding a comment (See how here: https://youtu.be/jHfzyfXfgAo) and detailed picture citations
