How will climate change effect the future in BC ?
The main cause of climate change is humans. Humans burn fossil fuels. Fossil fuels produce something called carbon dioxide which is a greenhouse gas. The reason it’s called greenhouse is because it produces something called “greenhouse effect”. The greenhouse effect makes the earth warmer. Carbon dioxide is the main cause of climate change, it stays in the atmosphere for a very long time. Carbon dioxide forces the temperature towards being warmer or cooler. We can try and prevent climate change by using our energy wisely and eating for a climate change stable planet.
Climate change will affect people’s health, sewer system, water supply, heavier rains pressured roads and rising sea levels.
Those impacts include temperature increase by 1.3 to 2.7 degree by 2050. There will be a lot of severe droughts. The increase in heatwave will result in increasing illnesses.
The rainfall will increase 2% to 12% by 2050 resulting in damaged buildings. There will also be more wildfires.
The glaciers will disappear by 2100 leading too changes in river flows and fish habitat. Drinking water will decrease in quality and quantity.
Sea level will continue to rise in B.C. causing massive flooding.
Even though we cannot avoid weather change impacts, we can be prepared to reduce its negative effects in B.C. by designing new buildings that can resist climate change impacts and by creating new strategies for agricultural areas.

1.What questions did you need to research in order to research your topic?1.I needed to research how climate change will be in the future so then I could start my project.

2.i used creative commons and that was new which basically i have too use a photo that is permeated.

3. I went to a lot of different websites that would help be and give me good information.

4.I went to websites that had facts and that were all similar
5.How did the process of completing this challenge go? What could you have done better?
It was a good project and very interesting for me and i could have probably one more research.
