purse wave is a nin-repeating wave that a single disturbance sneds a pulse from the souce outward but no repetiton of the event.
in the video, there are only a single wave is occured and there are no reptition until the wave is done. so this wave is Pulse wave.
peridoic wave
the second one is a peridoic wave. contrary to the Pulse wave, this wave is repeated regulary at a time intervals. So like we produced the wave continuesly int he same time.

In the past, A fist people who visit and settle in the America is European. they had suppressed due to their religion, so a lot of European people immigrate to America. For that reason, at that time the first mean of the word “American dream” is getting an opportunity of fulfilling your dreams by working hard without discriminate or unfairness. also, it was extended not just the Europeans but people from all over the world who traveled to America in search of employment and better life than in their homeland. America proved to be a land where you could pursue your dreams; religion, race, caste, creed, or whatever. So, People who start a new life in America have a American dream in their mind and according to the result, America developed to become one of the powerful nations in the world. however, these days the world is working with capitalism and anybody could get huge money if they have an ability. So, the American dream’s mean is changed. In time pasts, it was so hard to get the same opportunity but now the capability is more important to succeed. So, now the American dream’s mean is to realize the dream or what I want to do through my capacity or the effort. As the times go on, the worlds changing to give a similar opportunity for everyone. So, to realize the American dream, we have to try our best to develop our abilities for success. And through that capability, achieve what we always dreaming in our life.
1. How is the American Dream characteristic of American ideals and philosophy? What are the differences between the materialistic and the idealistic values associated with the American Dream?
– American dream is a belief that anyone, regardless of where they were born or what class they were born into, can attain their own version of success in a society .These characteristic made American work hard which lead America to develop amazingly in short time. There are really big differences between the materialistic and idealistic values associated with the American Dream. Materialistic value associated with the American dream is a belief that all thought and actions are mainly caused by objects. The only thing matters in the world is objects. For instance, new car is over friendship. However, idealistic values are the belief that you can be happy as long as you are with the people who you love and living in peace.
2. What was happening economically and socially in the United States in 1949? Was it fairly easy or difficult to get a job? What was America’s standing in the world?
– America suffer a huge recession from November 1948 to October 1949. During the recession, the GDP of the united states fell 1.7% and the unemployment rate reached a peak for the cycle of 7.9%. many people regard that the main cause of the recession is the aftermath of the end of World war 2. According to the rate, the economy of America was falling rapidly and drastically, so it was very hard to get a job in 1949.
3. What is your definition of salesman? How is a salesman different from someone in another occupation? What attitudes do you think a salesman should have to be successful? What attitudes would hinder him?
– Salesman is a man whose job is selling things in shop or directly to customers. Salesman is different from someone in another occupation. If others work in business that does not belong to them, salesman makes his own business. Salesman should be focusing on his work, be responsible with what he is doing, and persuade the consumers with reliability to become successful. Being lazy and lying to the consumers, would hinder him.
4. What effect do the expectations of parents have on the behavior of their children? In what ways might parental expectations be beneficial? In what ways might they be detrimental?
– Children spend a lot of time with their parents. Also, they learn how to behave from their parents. Therefore, the expectation of parents would be affected to their children even if the parents don’t want to make an impact on them. it could be beneficial or harmful to their children. If their children try to come up to the expectation of their parents, then it could be kind of motive power to make them work diligently. But if the parents put the children too hard due to their expectation, children would be out of the track or get some problem to communicate with their parents.
1. Do you think that John and Emily are deceiving themselves about being able to do well in their English class
Yes, John an Emily know that they must spend more time to do work for their Enlgish class. however, they chose to do some other stuff instead of english class which is post-season games or the dancing practice. although they realize that they should get a good mark in the final project, but they just give it up because of the other reason. and it means they think the Post-season games and the dancing project is more important or fun in their mind.
2. What do you think might be the result of the schedule they are following?
If they following the scedule, if they finish their sports game and dnace practice succesfully, they will be fail or get some bad grade in their english course as they did before.
3. If they don’t do well on their English work, will they blame others or themselves?
they should blame themselves. becasue they have a opportunity to fix their work in english class but they decided that doing some other stuff.
4. What, if anything, might you do differently if you were in their place?
If I was in their place, I will think about the order which is more important to me. if get a good grade in enlgish class is more important to me, than I will give up the dance practice or just ask to them “I have a fianl project in my english project so I should spend a time for it.” and I already spend a time for sports untill now so just trust my team and reduce to spending the time for game practice.

The people who lived in Arctic mainly got foods though hunting.
The Inuit ate a many kinds of foods such as three types of seal and three main fishes Including whitefish, Arctic Char and trout, walrus, white whales and some caribou. and also they hunted Canadian and blue geese, ducks, sea pigeons, gulls, terns and gathered eggs and berries. but there are some provinces were just few birds or fishes so, they mainly ate seals, walrus and polar bear. On the other hand, they were prohibited from RCMP to hunt musk-ox.
Even if they have a difficultive to hunt animals owing to cold weateher, they must do it for their families.
Because of really cold weather, they lived really hard. and there are no enough snow so they lived in tent all winter
I have experiences to ate their foods like fishes but I can’t stand to live in the Arctic
I think that the reason why they relocated in other places was foods. the foods for whole humans lived in Arctic were limited. moreover, in the Arctic, there are just few foods to eat.
so they shuold move a new settlement to found a new foods.
I surprised about the number who live in the Arctic. In fact, I don’t know why the people want to live in the Arcitic but probably they likes cold weather, iceberg, the animal only live in Arctic or just adventure.
