With creating this podcast, I experienced many things. I learned many things I didn’t know about before and actually made my first ever podcast. The journey was fun and new to me. It wasn’t too hard nor too easy, it was just right giving me and my partner a fair time. With researching our topic, I had a couple struggles here and there using resources I’m not familiar with but i got used to it. When i was researching i learned many things about the indigenous community, incarceration, and even new words which i am quite thankful of. Me and my partner split the research in half to make it fair for us speaking. When recording the podcast, I struggled most on the speaking part. I couldn’t keep it together, couldn’t take it seriously and struggled with some big words i found online. At about two try’s later me and my partner finally got it done.  

Positive and personal cultural identity 

Some aspects i value about this culture is the way they keep on trying to get justice no matter what they are going through. After I finished this podcast i realized how tough it is for them which makes me wish our podcast to make a positive impact. As well as my own culture, I value that we have rights and stand by them. I also value that we accept each other for who we are and respect that.
