1. What key concepts about radicals and absolute value did you learn in the unit? What do you want to remember looking back at this unit. What common themes in mathematics run through this unit? (Principles of adding, subtracting, multiplying, , solving and order of operations as they pertain to radicals)

  1. What have you learned about yourself as a unit. How did you do well as a learner in this unit? How have you changed from the first to second unit in your study habits as a student. What do you need as a learner from yourself and from your teacher?

I learned that to achieve in math is to not always take the easy way out if you dont get the right answer because if you always look at the answer and how to do it right, you won’t learn the right learning skills because if you always look at the answers on homework and how to correctly finish them on the test you won’t have those answers to look at and you won’t know how to properly correct yourself without the answer on how to finish the problem. I need to learn for the next unit to ask for help or work to get the correct answer with doing homework if I don’t know the answer instead of always checking answers and checking how to do them without knowing how to do them myself if I didn’t have the answers in front of me. (e.g. tests)
