What happened to you as a gene?
This mutation happened from your parents genetics but both parents must have it to go to you.
What caused your Resistance to HIV?
HIV Resistance is caused by changes in the virus’s genetic structure. These mutations can lead to changes in certain protein, most commonly enzymes, that help HIV reproduce.
What effects did the Resistance to HIV mutation have on your host’s body?
It could weaken your immune system, I could make you sick easier than people without resistance to HIV.
How was the person’s life effected?
Well its not necessarily bad to be born with resistance to HIV because you can’t actually get HIV disease and it is a neutral to a person born with this.
What was their story?
Well their story was that their parents both where diagnosed with Resistance to HIV. He was born and also was diagnosed with Resistance to HIV and just lived the rest of his life without worrying to catch the virus HIV because he is covered with his Resistance to HIV.

I just used Google and the websites that showed up most reliable for my project questions.
What was the process you used to investigate the topic?
I wanted an interesting topic so I was checking all the different mutations there are and I saw Resistance to HIV and I didn’t really know what it was at start but I wanted to learn a new mutation so that’s why I picked this topic.
How did you verify and cite the info you found?
Because the questions were positive and made sense to my questions of my topic to Resistance to HIV
How did the process of completing this challenge go?
It was actually not that bad it was actually kind of fun and learning more of diseases for the future
What could you have done better?
Not that much maybe just have put more time into it but other than that I thought I did great.
