In our world today, writers and artists may be in the shadows of scientists and engineers, and seen as less important, due to our exposure of them in the media. In my opinion writers and artists are just as important to society as scientists and engineers. Both of these groups cannot exist without the other, you can think of it as both of them being a screw for our society and once one of these screws is taken out the other cannot exist and our society begins to fall. For example when scientists are working on a big project like Elon Musk, their team does not just consist of scientists and engineers because they are working on a science project, they actually need writers and artists to help in the planning stages. Scientists and engineers can also be considered and looked at as writers and artists, in the designing of things, for example scientists and engineers need to be writers and artists in the planning stages of a project, like with Elon Musk designing the Tesla Car. Musk has to design the looks of the car but also has to think of the electrical and mechanical functions. In the end I believe writers and artists have the same impact and importance to society as scientists and engineers.
