1.Chromosones, DNA and Genes are all related because Genes are segments of DNA on a chromosome, also all three of these things are contained in our body.
2a.Licorice represents the sugar/phosphate backbone.
2b.Marshmallows represent the bases and the toothpicks represent the bonds between the bases and backbones.

3.This activity helped us understand the structure of DNA because kinetically we were able to make the structure hands on and we were able to see all the parts/pieces of DNA.
