Core Competencies

Questions:

We chose to do the Mitosis because we didn’t think we would have time to do miosis. Initially, we were planning to but decided against it. We were correct. We had just enough time to complete the stop motion. The most challenging piece was getting it all together. We didn’t do a fantastic job of communicating outside of school to work and it set us back a little. The easiest part of making this was editing in the phases. We used Capcut to add in the names of each phase and it was very quick and very simple. We could improve the stop motion. It was slightly off and it felt very rushed. There were times when we had to go back almost a whole phase because we noticed something was in frame for a while. The main challenge is that we handed in our assignments late. we didn’t have enough class time to do the voice-over beforehand and we both had no free time to do it after school. Next, time, I will try and do the voice-overs through videos so that we can do them even if we aren’t together. Mitosis is very important because, over time, cells get damaged or tired and need to be replaced. if it didn’t, it would lead to a lot of issues. Things wouldn’t be able to grow. Miosis is important because it creates diversity and is essential for sexual reproduction.
