Do you think Joseph Boyden should write stories about the Indigenous people of Canada? Why or why not?

I personally believe that Joseph Boyden should be allowed to write stories about the Indigenous people of Canada as long as he stays respectful to their culture, traditions and struggles. If he were to be writing negative things towards the Indigenous community my opinion would not be the same; however as long as he continues to write in a respectful manner I think that his writing is justified. Although, I would like to see in the future for his next pieces of literature surrounding the Indigenous community, that he talks to “real” members of the Indigenous people of Canada to make sure that he is telling the whole real story and that he is portraying Indigenous people is a correct and respectful way.
