Science App Review

Science App Review

I chose the Periodic Table app for my Science App Review project. I was first looking for a quick and easy way to get a periodic table for my many assignments. I came across this.

The Periodic Table App has it’s pros and it’s cons.

It’s very helpful, in the sense that for what we are working on right now is Chemistry and for studying or any kind of assignment/worksheet we need a periodic table. By using an app, this way I would not have to go to an unreliable source on the internet and not be sure if my work I put down would be correct,  I know that this app is 100% correct with it’s data. However, I can’t zoom in if something is too hard to read.

This app is also very organised. The way it’s colour-coted makes it easier for a student to figure out which type of metal each certain element is and which column it lies in. This is a great way to study.

I can also search the elements. Sometimes it’s a huge pain to waste my whole time searching and searching for the element that I’m looking for but this saves my time and issues right away.

There could be other great aspects to this app, for example helpful tactics to figure out the amount of protons, electrons and neutrons for studying, I would definitely appreciate this.

I hope my presentation helped students with their own struggles, as this app did for me.
