- Make sure to have secure passwords with numbers.
- Be sure to have supervision if you don’t feel comfortable enough on your own.
- Don’t go onto any questionable sites or links.
What advice do you have?
To be responsible, be true to yourself and to think before you post, google or tweet because nothing you say can be erased, no matter what you do, it will still be there.
How will your digital footprint effect your future opportunities?
- If you make a wrong decision by posting something, most employers will search you up and if that post, tweet or photo is the first thing they see you can bet you won’t be getting the job.
- Say you are looking towards marrying and having a family and your kid wants to look you up for fun, think about what they might find, will you be proud of it?
