- I have learned, within this activity that when adding these chemicals to other substances, the colour gradually darkens over time. It’s important to know about the mixture of chemicals for many reasons, for discovering new products and foods, for safety reasons and procedures, etc. Without scientists and experiments such as these labs, we would have never known what sorts of dangerous gases are out there and safety precautions to take during certain real life situations.
- In this lab, we mixed certain chemicals such as, iodine, starch solution and Vitamin C. We also mixed in other ordinary, drinkable beverages to see what reaction would come up.
