my problem: The periodic table is very big, it has many elements in it and finding the one you are looking for may not be very easy.A Printed out periodic table do not give all the information that you might need about the element, having a printed copy can also get lost, and or ripped.Having a digital copy on you’re device can be much more easy to handle since it is in the palm of you’re hands and wont get lost as easily as a piece of paper would.
My solutions: Does this app help you understand more about the periodic table and elements? is this app understandable and easy to use? is this app open to everyone in the class?
Finding the app: While trying to solve my problem, i searched on the google play store and found many periodic table apps. they all seemed very convenient, but the one app that i found very understanding was called “periodic table”. of course there were other apps that looked very interesting such as “periodic table quiz” and K12 periodic.
My app review: while using the app “periodic table” i saw some unique features in it, when you click on an element of our choosing it gives much detail like,the boiling point, the colour, weather
it is radioactive or not, and it also shows a bohr diagram of the element.It is laid out as a normal looking periodic table, with all the chemical families, periods, metals, metalloids, etc. i personally think it is quite convenient because instead of carrying around a paper copy of the table, its right under you’re finger tips. i found that this app that i choose gave me much more information then the apps i listed above, i found that there were picture examples and descriptions on the elements.You can customize the order of the elements by alphabetical order.The main reason why i choose this app is because it is simple, it has the periodic table right in front of you, with a click of a button you can see what the atomic mass, atomic number, symbol, and ion charge of the element. i think this app is very practical because you can learn so much more with less work to do.
