This is my trickster concept map of how each character represents the trickster figure in Indigenous written and oral stories. There is a short summary as well as direct quotes from the stories we read and listened too relating to the trickster in our English First Peoples 12 class.

Podcast: Stories though the voice of authors
Loading...
Our podcast is called “Stories Through the Voice of Authors” and answers our main question of how authors represent their culture and transfer their knowledge through stories. We went through four stories named Traplines, Charlie, What Is It About Us You Don’t Like, and Marion Tuu’luq. Each one was unique and we talked about how they all related to the Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Being as well as our central question which we discussed. We included traditional Inuit music into our podcast because that is where a majority of our stories came from as well as an ad that raises awareness of an organization named Every Child Matters that is trying to do better and help Indigenous peoples.
