How does Francophone media (music, television and film, social media) play a role in your growth as a French language learner?

French media plays a role in my growth as a French language learner because it is something that you can watch or listen to improve your,r French. When I have watched talk shows or listened to music in French it makes me be more aware of their body language and things that I would notice talking to a person who speaks English for example they talk much fast and they use larger hand gestures, so you get more of a fell on how they communicate.

Does understanding French media give you a sense of pride?

I personally think that understanding French media gives me a sense of pride because I can connect with a different culture and understand what they are saying or doing. I can understand their ideas that maybe would be more unique than what I am normally used to.

Do you feel differently when you hear a French song vs. a song in a language you do not understand?

I think that most of the time I do feel different because I am able to understand and make a connection on what they are saying instead of just listening to the sounds. I can acknowledge their ideas and things that they are saying or acting.

Does it impact your learning?

I think that knowing and understanding French media can impacting my learning in lots of ways because I am able to further my comprehension of French, their culture, and language.
