Collaboration Fluency Project
I think the end result of our collaboration fluency project went not as well as planned. Starting out with our brainstorming I know we could have done a bit more. There were only certain people giving input and ideas to the group, but everyone was receptive to the different approaches. When looking back I know we could have maybe expiremented more with different ideas instead go just settling for one. We found one idea, rubbing a balloon on fur and then using the charge to attract the can to pull it along. When we found out this plan worked we stopped thinking about other possibilities, and that is where it went wrong. After this we kind of closed our minds to other ideas. So over all it went well with the collaboration part. But something we could have done more of is thought of more possibilities inside of having a closed mind.

My App: Elements- Periodic Table Element Quiz
Define/problem:
In science class a lot of people are tasked with memorizing the periodic table. Me, as a student find it very hard to memorize things like this. I learn better by being hands on and DOING. I need an app that will help me DO. A lot of people struggle with the stress of taking a test. i need an app to help me with test taking and memorization.
Dream:
I need an easy to work app that helps me take short quizzes to test myself. If only i could practice test taking and memorize the periodic table all at once. I always found it helpful to study under pressure. So when it becomes test time there no stress about it. With an app that asks me questions with a time limit I am studying under pressure to not only prepare for the pressure of the test but to also prepare for the content on the test.
Deliver:
For students, like me, who struggle with the pressure a test puts on them and memorization, the app, ‘Elements’ will be perfect for you. By giving you a colour coded and clear outline of the periodic table it is very easy to memorize. Not only that but the app also has multiple choice speed quizzes you can take, by them giving you the symbol for the element you have the choice between 4 element names below. This will not only prepare you for the pressure of a test but it also will help you with memorization of all of the elements. When you get more comfortable with the events there is also a hard version. This level has 6 options to choose from instead of 4, this way you are always challenging yourself. This is an easy app for your phone and you can study anywhere. I know I will be using this app soon.
Debrief:
I think I found an app that helps me with my problem. The one thing I think I could have looked more into is an app that helps you memorize the placement of the elements. But overall this app helps me practice for the pressure of tests and helps me memorize the symbols of elements in the periodic table, would rate this app a 8/10.
