How has this unit impacted your critical and creative thinking and communication skills? 

This unit has challenged me to explore an area of math I have struggled with in the past; however through my newly developed skills reflecting within the core competencies, I believe that I was able to adapt and find ways to make this unit comprehensible. I used a lot of critical thinking throughout this unit, as during class time or while doing my homework I needed to question the various rules of different graphs/functions to fully develop a proper response to the questions given. I had to analyze past math units from different levels to develop a full understanding of how each transformation (whether they be drawn or written) has affected the overall position of a graph. I used my creative thinking skills while generating ideas on how a graph should look based on the critical thinking I had used prior. While drawing graphs I had to not only remember the critical mathematic side of of it, but also using it creative thinking as a final step to finishing a problem. Finally, the way I believe I used communication the most in this unit, was voicing my questions to ensure I fully understood the lesson. As well as that, we would often work with our group member to collaborate in interpreting a certain rule of a function.
