In the Absolutely True Diary Of a Part Time Indian, the Protagonist Junior faces many conflicts. Although, most of which are with himself. In each chapter, we see him struggling with issues such as racism, family, death and identity. My poem really emphasizes Juniors inner thought with himself. In the novel the author tries to cover Juniors true emotions with a humorous aspect, but in this poem it gives a darker more in depth feeling. The novel I used for the template of my blackout poetry is The Fault in Our Stars, by John Green.
