Shield Volcanoes:
This is a shield volcano, which are the largest volcano type. They are known as shield volcanoes for their shape of a low circular bump, resembling a shield. They are created by lava flowing out on all sides, making layers after layers. This is caused by large magma buildups of thin and highly viscous magma that reaches the surface and slowly seeps out, in layers. They almost constantly erupt, but aren’t very explosive and volatile.
