In science 9 we’ve been learning about Static electric and the affects it has on us as we’ll as the wold. Hear are three things that I think are the most important things to know about static electricity. 1) Static electricity is created when objects touch or rube agents each other. 2) Things have positive and negative charges and can transfer there charges between things. 3) Certain materials will stop electricity like rubber, styrofoam, and paper. These materials are called insulators. Other materials like copper, gold, and most metals allow electricity to pass through it early. Those materials are called conductors because they conduct electricity. The lab that I found most helpful was when we touched van der graaf generator and were able to see the effects of static electricity on us. It helped me understand more doing it with myself and the affects it had on me.
