The reason why water conservation is necessary in Canada is that water is a necessity in our life. Everything on earth rely on water, such as plants, our food and animals cannot survive without water. Canada’s major water resources are about 20% of the world’s total fresh water. Although, Canada has an abundance of freshwater sources, the majority is non-renewable. As world’s population increase and agriculture pollution, the fresh water has been reduced.
