I can examine evidence from various perspectives to analyze and make well-supported judgments and interpretations about complex issues. I demonstrated these skills when I progressed through writing my immigration essay. Furthermore, I read through different sources that contained different views on my topic, and I was able to summarize the information into my essay. I can also gather, select, evaluate, and synthesize information. When I needed to answer questions to various topics, I needed to gather and evaluate information I found in textbooks. I wrote what I found in a clear and thoughtful manner and was able to show a strong understanding in my answers.
