To find the answer , I used algebra tiles. If you look at the image the to two long green tile represents . So x would make . A with the yellow tile which represents +1, would still be , because they are both positive. And 1 x 1 will equal 1 so the one would stay the same. so the answer would be .
To find the answer , I used algebra tiles. We already know that a long green tile is but a long red tile represents . So we already know that x equal . There is a red square that represents -1. So a x -1 equals . And there are two of those. We all know that negative x negative = positive. -1 x -1 = 1. So the answer would be .
I tried to find the answer for with the strategy, algebra tiles. We already know that a long green tile is and that a long red tile represents . So if we look at the picture, x equals . A red square represents -1 so -1 x is . A yellow square represents +1 so +1 x equals . We already know that positive x negative = negative. So +1 x -1 = -1. That is why the answer to this question is .
To find the answer for , we use the algebra tiles. This is a bit different from other questions that we tried to answer. First, x = . The shaded is the positive. Shaded tile x -1 =, and there are two of those. And we talked about how positive x positive = positive. So +1 x+1 = 1 and the answer of this part would be . And then we use the answer and multiply it with the again because its multiplied 3 times. So now, x = . We know that negative x positive = negative so x -1 = . We know that x = and there are 2 of those. We know that negative x negative = positive. x -1 = and we have 3 of those and we obviously know that +1 x -1 = -1. So the answer of this question would be .

Great written explanations. We leave algebra tiles for modelling the products of two binomials, as soon as we get into three binomials we tend to just use algebra rather than tiles because x^3 requires 3 dimensions. I think your final expansion is missing a 2 on the -3x term.
