What I know about Sine, Cosine, and Tangent so far…
What is Sine, Cosine, and Tangent?
They are 3 fundamental ratios of trigonometry. Each of these is a ratio of two sides of a right triangle.
I know so far that:
sine= opposite/hypotenuse.
cos= adjacent/hypotenuse
tan=opposite/adjacent
Using sine, cosine, and tangent, we can find the ratio of the triangle
If we do the inverse, than we can find the angle of the triangle.
I now know what the sign means on my calculator and I know how and why we use these signs.
