About Me

My name is Lia and I am part of G19!

I love to hang out with friends. My friends always listen to me and they always care for me. They are always by my side and they will encourage me whenever I am down.

I play piano. I started when I was 6 years old. I went up until level 8,9 or 10 (I don’t really remember…) and unfortunately, I gave up because I was skating at that time and I didn’t have time to practice. I still enjoy playing piano. When I find a song that I want to play on piano, I find it on internet and print the sheets and I play on the piano.

I dance as well. It’s one way to really express myself in motion. I do all sorts of dancing; jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. It’s a lot of work and commitment but it’s so much FUN!

I love to sing! I don’t take any singing lessons but I do have a recording mic at home and I record songs with it. Singing is another way to express your feelings. Whenever I record a song, I put my headphones on and it feels like there’s no one is around me but the background music and my voice. Even though I am not perfect, I practice a lot.

I am so grateful to have such wonderful teachers here at Riverside. My definition of high school was; a big school, need to know everything, need to be popular in order to fit in, etc… I couldn’t really imagine myself going to high school. And time passed and I am entering 10th grade. I am so grateful for my family, friends, and my teachers because if they weren’t there to support me and encourage me, I wouldn’t be the girl I am right now. I have been going through hard times but there always family, friends, and teachers that supported me.
