This week, we started unit 2 and learned about Trigonometry. At first i was really confused on what trigonometry was but now I think i have a good understanding.

This week I learned how to read all the sides and the different ratios for triangles, such as : SOH CAH TOA.

(this methode only works for right triagles only)

First you want to identify which sides are Hypotenuse, opposite and adjacent. Then you use the acronyms of SOH CAH TOA to find out the value of each of the ratios.  SOH stands for; sine, opposite, and hypotenuse. CAH stands for; cosine, adjacent, and hypotenuse. TOA stands for; tangent, opposite, and adjacent.
