the secret path (the stranger infographic)
this is my infographic on the book “secret path” by Gord Downie. Gord Downie is a singer and song writer who made this book full of songs/poems. I chose the poem “the stranger” because it is about a boy named Chanie Wenjack who feels like he doesn’t belong at the schools and wants to go home. He was forced and taken away from his family and friends.
Thank you for posting the Poetry Infographic Project. I have some observations regarding this piece on a technological perspective.
– Creative layout of information is appealing, but could have more information included
– Somewhat professional in format (replicating the medium of an infographic, not many images are used)
– Information is straightforward and provides some insight
– Multiple categories explain the poem
– Properly posted on your edublog!
I hope that you enjoyed doing this project and learnt not only about poetry, but also how to use a new technological tool!
