I think Canada should not become an independent country. Firstly, Canada will probably lose the protection from Britain if Canada is going to become an independent country and they might not be able to defence themselves if other countries are attacking them.
Secondly, many of the people are the loyalty of Britain, maybe when Canada become an independent country, those people will no longer to stay in Canada and turn back to England. The population of Canada will decrease and it will affect the economy. Because most of the Britain are rich and they actually affect the economy.I think Plains people have the easiest lifestyle, because Plains people are living in the southern province (Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba), the weather in there are much warmer than the north. Also, the natural resources of this First Nations are buffalo. There have a lot of buffaloes, so Plains people will eat their meat. Use their skin to build their house, so their house is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Also, There have a lot of grasslands, so they are able to plant things.

Even though I am not an animal lover, I also think fur is a horrible fashion. Imagine that wearing a death animal on your body, how gross is it. After I read the article, I learn that the proceed of making fur is very cruel. There have more than one millions of dogs and cats are killed in horrible and painful ways in the world, to make fur or other product. This article make me feel those animals are so poor.
