Shape of the day:

  1. Attendance
  2. What are some things that marketing professionals do with advertisements that we feel could be viewed as unethical?
    1. Create list of various concerns
  3. How receptive are we to advertising?  How much influence does it have over us?
  4. For our various concerns, you will be needing to find an example of an advertisement that fits that category.
    1. You will then show your ad to the class and explain how the ad attempts to manipulate or influence the consumer.
  5. Reflection – Do you feel it is OK for marketing professionals to use the techniques we discussed?  Is it the responsibility of the buyer to make an informed decision or the responsibility of the seller to provide accurate and complete information?
