Question 1: How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities? Give at least 2 examples.
The first way your digital footprint may affect you is by making or breaking you getting a certain job. If a employer sees that you are irresponsible on social media they may not want to give you a job you applied for. A second reason may be that you don’t want any person to search you up on the internet and find everything out about you. You shoulder give out your info on the internet, you should always be careful.
Question 2: Describe at least three strategies that you can use to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe.
Be thoughtful of others on the internet, don’t do stuff you wouldn’t do in real life. Always be careful before you give out your personnel information on the internet. Be careful with your passwords and make sure you change them often to make it less likely to be hacked.
Question 3: What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? How would you go about telling them?
I would tell them to be safer on the internet and tell them to be careful with there information. I would also tell them to be skeptical about everything they see on the internet. I would tell them in a very calm and compassionate tone.
