For this project I didnt take any pictures of the inside of the blinding of where my dad works. But I did take pictures of the storage space with all of the tools.
So, for the take your kid to work day, I decided to go to my dad’s workplace. My dad works at a company called Cewe. He is a surveyor. So today I woke up early then I usually do. I had to wake up at 5:20. I got ready for the day. Then we got into his truck and drove off. When we got there, I got to see the place where they keep all the machines and trailers with the tools they use. Then I got to see the Cewe building. I saw that there is a part of the blinding where people use the software called AutoCAD. For the most part the day was mostly stayed inside of the building. We didn’t really leave the place, beside near the end when I would come back home. When I went back home, I got home early, so that’s why on the way back home. He did something for on the way home. he stopped on a street and he got wheel thing that is connected to a stick. When you walk with it on the ground it counts the number of millimetres you walked. It was between electric box and the sewer hole on the sidewalk. Then he took the measurements for his work in his notebook. Then he drove me home. Then he continued the rest of his work. I didn’t stay for the rest of the day, because the rest of the day was my dad telling the people outside where to go. It could also be dangerous if I went with him, and also I would have more time to work on this.
Would I like to do this when I grow up. In my personal opinion I think I wouldn’t mind doing this when I grow up. This year I am taking drafting for grade 9. But the thing I think about is I am going to do this all day. I am not just going to have to do it for an hour and a half. So I think about if I want to do this for my future.
