How can we reduce heat waves solution fluency

Define

Heat waves are created by trapped air. Normally air circles the globe in large heavy winds, however if it is trapped over one region it can warm up to very high temperatures because of sunlight. The air is often trapped due to high-pressure systems, these systems force the air downwards in effect acting as a large cap. With the air being trapped, it is unable to rise into the cooler upper atmosphere, therefore preventing precipitation.

-World Book: Heat index, or HI, is a measure of how hot the air feels. In the United States, the National Weather Service uses the HI to alert the public to the dangers of extremely hot and humid weather.

-Gale In Context: A heat wave is an extended period of unusually high temperatures and often high humidity

Dream

-We can put Algae in rivers, lakes and ocean because algae is where most of the worlds O2 comes from.

-Global warming is one of the biggest causes of heat waves. By reducing the amount of CO2 emission, we can reduce the temperature of the Earth to prevent heat waves from happening.

-Growing plants produce oxygen at night, which is an important element to reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere.

-Our roofs can help us prevent heat waves from happening. One way is to change the color of the roof from darker colors to brighter colors. This prevents heat from getting trapped in our roofs, which is likely to affect our houses during the heat waves.

-Adding solar panels on the roofs  can provide us with  energy we need without having to generate CO2.

-Drinking water an prevent heat stroke

Debrief

I enjoyed this part of the project with my partner since we good friends and we share the same interests, this project was however annoying to complete not because it was hard but because it was hard to find the information we needed to finish but other then that this project was pretty easy.
