What is caffeine made out of / what is it used for?– Caffeine is found is more than 60 plants such as; tea leafs, cacao, and coffee beans. It is added into shakes and caffeinated drinks and foods. Man made caffeine is put into to energy drinks and powder and capsule supplements. 2 teaspoons of caffeine powder cold kill most adults.

Why is it made?– Caffeine improves mental alertness. Powdered caffeine is much more dangerous then regular caffeine.

how / when was it made?– Caffeine was first extracted from cocoa beans into its purest form which is a white powder, in the 1820s. It was made by a german scientist named Friedfrich Ferdinand Runge. Extracting caffeine to produce caffeine powder can be done in many different ways. A few of these ways are no longer used because of health risks and environmental impact.
