My team’s problem was immigrants and in order to solve the problem, we had to create a solution. We decided to use media and famous people to influence citizens. It would help welcome immigrants when they feel insecure of speaking up for themselves. We used an example of Oprah and how we believed she would be passionate about promoting equality and supporting immigrants. She would talk about immigrant issues in a conference/ceremony where all people are welcome to listen. This would get broadcasted on television for everyone around the world. First, we got to this process by doing “Yes, and…” in order to combine our ideas to create one solution. Then, we did not know how to start building so we began with the main components like the TV and Oprah. From there, we discussed what we should add next and we gradually came to conclusion.
