Throughout this semester, English helped me earn a variety of things. The idea of censorship and how it affects media/society broadened my view on what happens in society. I liked all the poems and spoken words as they showed me different perceptions of minorities such as immigrants, Indigenous people, and transgender people. The identity unit allowed me to think twice of how other people are treated and that there are many facets in society. I can relate to how immigrants feel as I am an immigrant myself. The different activities and assignment made me think outside the box with insight and detail. NoRedInk clarified how to quote properly and how to effectively use quotations/semicolons. I was able to apply what I learned in my writing to create good sentence fluency. Overall, I had a lot of fun in English as it was very insightful and it expanded my knowledge on multiple concepts.
